Hi CNS Exam Preppers,

I wanted to take some time and write a post about Practicequiz.com’s free CNS Exam prep questions.

I have no affiliation with practicequiz.com, and I’m still getting the questions of the day, and I took my exam back in June! LOL! I recommend this website to check your understanding of nutrition concepts. Use these questions more for checking your understanding and learning random nutrition facts for the exam!

Use these practice questions to practice your problem-solving skills. Use the process of elimination.

Don’t look to these questions as illustrative of what you will see on the exam, because they won’t necessarily be.

I personally recommend these two question sets on practicequiz.com.
CNS Exam: https://practicequiz.com/cns-nutrition-specialist-exam-prep(50 questions)

Clinical Nutritionist Examhttps://practicequiz.com/clinical-nutritionist-ccn-exam-prep(49 questions)
– These questions are great extra practice.

Ways to use these practice questions include
1. Break them up and take a 10-question mini quiz
2. Use them as a mini assessment: complete a 49 or 50-question set under timed conditions
3. Review your answers as you go along. Write down the questions you miss or guessed right. Record the explanations and take a few minutes to go further into the concepts that correlate to the CNS Exam Content Outline. I dedicated a single spiral notebook to this.

Don’t forget to review your CNS Exam Content Outline often

I personally like the content outline format listed at the back of the 2025-2026 BCNS Certifications Handbook

And remember, when it comes to utilizing free questions to practice for the CNS Exam. I recommend using these questions to check your understanding of nutrition concepts and practice your multiple-choice test-taking skills. You’ll pick up random nutrition facts for sure that could help you on the exam. You can also take the questions further and develop your own protocols that fit in line with the test question in relation to the CNS Exam content outline. The options are endless when it comes to this. Use these questions to check your understanding of the content. Don’t spend much time on questions that don’t correlate to the exam outline. If you find them interesting, mark them for review AFTER your exam.

I used practicequiz.com question of the day to help prep for the exam. I definitely didn’t get to all of the questions, but the ones I did complete were helpful.

Wishing you the BEST on the CNS Exam!
